Over twenty young people of various minority ethnic backgrounds are joining the Woodcraft Folk groups in Ulverston for fun with water activities and to link in with the Thai New Year water celebrations. The event will be opened by the Thai ladies from Barrow and Askam who will introduce their water festival to the young people. There will also be activities highlighting issues around water conservation.
This is a continuation of our Cultural Exchange events started last spring, aiming for young people to get to know each other sharing experiences and culture whilst having fun together.
